Date and Time of Summit: 12 November 2024 from 10:00 – 16:00 SAST

The online Summit will take the form of a Zoom Webinar and participants will therefore be given the opportunity during the Summit and via the Q&A Chat to pose written questions. All questions will be answered either verbally during the Summit or, if time does not permit, in writing, after the Summit.

In addition to the written questions recorded during the Summit, all participants will be given a further seven (7) calendar days after the date of the Summit within which to provide Africa Seminars with his/her/their written views re the matters addressed at the Summit for due consideration by the panel of speakers that will address the Summit. A detailed document, with recommendations, will thereafter be prepared for onward submission to the UN for discussion with member countries. As a participant, you are fully entitled to a copy of the said recommendations which will be forwarded to you at no additional cost.

In light of the time differences between South Africa and certain other countries, it has been decided to make available a full recording of the proceedings at the Summit, at no additional cost, to all registered participants who were unable to attend during the specified time of the online Summit. After receipt of the proceedings, you will still be given the opportunity to pose written questions to Africa Seminars for a written response from the panel of speakers and possible inclusion as part of the recommendations referred to above.

To register for the online Summit, you are required to click here, to complete the registration form and thereafter to submit same by clicking on the word submit on the registration form. South African delegates can pay the registration fee via EFT or by debit or credit card via Paystack. Banking details will be provided after completing the registration form and checking out on the website. International delegates have the option to pay via International Bank Transfer directly into the bank account or use PayPal for payment via debit or credit card, These options will be available at checkout. Please note that registrations can only be confirmed upon receipt of your completed registration form and the full registration fee. The closing date for confirmation of registration is 1 November 2024. If a duly registered and confirmed delegate is, for any reason, unable to attend, he/she may appoint a substitute delegate to attend in his or her place; provided that Africa Seminars is advised, in writing, by e-mail on or before 1 November 2024 of the name and full particulars of the substitute delegate. However, if you are unable to appoint a substitute delegate, Africa Seminars will refund 50% of the registration fee paid by you and received by Africa Seminars; provided that you inform Africa Seminars of this, in writing, on or before 1 November 2024. Please note that no refunds can be considered after 1 November 2024. Any refund payable to you will be paid within seven (7) business days after the date of the Summit.

Important Note: May we suggest that you please finalise your registration as soon as possible since we are expecting a large number of delegates. The number of delegates attending will play an important role in achieving the objectives of the Summit.
